2025 Exhibition

The Museum will reopen Easter weekend – on Saturday 19th April with a new Exhibition on Dollar Water Mills.  The recently added working model of Dollar Railway Station and Mine and the Time-Line of Dollar History are among favourite attractions. Dollar Gala – Saturday 7th June 2025

Dollar Gala this year is on June 7th. The Museum will have a stall and many items from our shop. There will also be a quiz  – so pick up your entry forms from our stall and join in the fun!

 

Annual Strawberry Tea – Wednesday 16th July 2025

Our summer event will be held on Wednesday 16th July, from 2.30pm – 4.00pm in the Burnside Hall. We will have a number of stalls selling baking, books and items from our Museum Shop. A very popular event in our calendar! (last year’s poster Annual Strawberry Tea)

 

Annual Outing – Tuesday 2nd September, 2025

Following our very successful trip last year the Burrell Collection, our destination this year is PERTH MUSEUM. It will take place on Tuesday 2nd September, 2025, leaving at 10.00am and returning by around 4.00pm.

 

A. G. M. – Friday 26th September 2025

The Annual General Meeting of the Friends of Dollar Museum will be held on Friday 26th September, 2025 at 7.30 pm at the Museum. All Friends are welcome to attend. Agendas and details will be circulated to members nearer the time.

Historic Walks round Dollar 27th & 28th September 2025

As part of Doors Open Days in Scotland, the Museum is organising two walks – on Saturday 27th September and Sunday 28th September. Both start at 2.00 pm outside the Museum. More details later. Click here for last year’s information.

 

Book Sale – 8th and 9th November 2025

We are holding our very popular Annual Book Sale at the Museum 0n Saturday 8th and Sunday 9th November.  From October we will be happy to accept well-read books or even mint unopened copies – and you can come and get your reading material for the winter. (Click here for last year’s poster).

 

Quiz Night – Friday 28th November 2025

We are holding our very popular Quiz Night on Friday 28th November 2025. You can start learning up all those ‘pub quiz’ type questions and planning your teams – up to 6 players. See you there. 7.00 pm for 7.30 pm start. More details later.

 

Dollar Christmas Fair – 6th December 2025

We will be running a stall at the Dollar Annual Christmas Fair. Come along and get those special Christmas Gifts.
