WAR MEMORIAL
The memorial commemorates eight employees of Samuel Jones and Compnay, Devonvale Mill, Tillicoultry, who gave their lives in World War 2. It was commissioned in 1947 by Sydney Platfoot, the managing director of the company. The renowned architect and sculptor Charles D’orville Pilkington designed the memorial.
