COALSNAUGHTON and LANGOUR VILLAGE HALL / WAR MEMORIAL

Built in 1907, it was designed by John S Leishman and extended in 1925 by William Kerr. The architecture is low pink-harled, rambling complex of slate-roofed community spaces, doorways well marked with relevant titles, and Tudor-like gabled parapets. Kerr’s lesser hall has typical square bay windows with overhanging hipped eaves. The building was upgraded in 1999.
