ADM Route Six –  Lower Mains along the River Devon

Park on the tarmac road in Lower Mains. Take the path immediately north of the first house on the west side of the road in Lower Mains. Follow this path to reach the River Devon, continue westwards turning south over the first bridge over the Devon River. Immediately turn right by the riverside and follow the path over a small wooden bridge until you reach the track going to Wester Sheardale House where you turn right and join the old railway line, now the Devon Way and turn right. Continue eastwards until you reach a path to the right, up steps and before the first overbridge and return to Lower Mains.
