Starting on the Devon Way head east, then turn South at the next junction. Follow this track past Wester Sheardale House continuing up hill crossing the B9140 and on to Aberdona Mains. Turn right at a minor road then left on a footpath to join another path from Forestmill where you turn right to follow the path to Gartmorn Dam. Walk north through Sherrifyards and Gartenkeir following the path and crossing the B9140 and picking up the path to DevonKnowes where you go north join the path from Devonvale and turn right. Walk through Lawmuir wood and join the path back past Wester Sheardale and back to the car park .
